First blog, first book reading challenge!

It’s a year of firsts!
Also, hello! Nice to have you here, I hope you enjoy my new blog.

My name is Camilla and I would like to write to you about books, well-being and life in Finland. I’ve thought of starting a blog for a while now and so why not now when the air is full of New Year/New Me promises.

That’s me, dreaming of a reading nook like this and a pile of books.

Books, well-being and stuff

I have a theme in mind for this year and it’s a book reading challenge. Expect light reviews and updates on how my challenge is progressing (if it is). It’s an intimidating challenge to read 50 books in a year, but I’ll try my best to do it and look forward to be inspired by all the stories.

Overall well-being will be another frequent topic as I’m currently studying coaching and I work as a Senior HR Specialist, so it is a relevant subject in my professional life as well as my personal life. In my free time I enjoy gym, Les Mills workouts and occasional yoga in addition to my hobbies with books, console games and cooking. I’m a native Finnish and some of the posts will definitely be about the life I have in this beautiful country with my lovely husband.

Anyways, thank you for joining me here and stay tuned for my next post where I will tell more about the reading challenge for 2019!

Onwards with this year!

I love books, games and the coziness of our house (currently it's the kingdom of me and my husband). My work in a game studio as a Senior HR Specialist keeps me busy and social, but I am an introvert in my core. Navigating life between my very social work and my introvert, less social personality can be tricky and it goes hand in hand with my interest in overall personal well-being.
